Respected sir,
1. In Virginia Woolf's "To the light house" she express her views on the complexity of human relationship or the everydays battles that people are at in their relationship with near and dear ones like Mrs.Ramsay she is a dutiful and loving wife but often struggles with her husband's difficult moods and selfishness. She successfully handle her son, her husband and she manage her house, but Mr.Ramsay not give respect to her.So this way Virginia Woolf explained the struggle of a female artist against the values of class society.
2. Yes sir I am fully agree with this lines "The novel is both the tribute and critique of Mrs.Ramsay " Mrs.Ramsay's essence as a wife and mother in the painting mimics the impulse among modern women to know and understand intimately the gendered experiences of the women who came before them.
3. I think the symbolism of light house in "To the light house" it is stand for Mrs. Caroline Ramsay as guiding star and harbours emotional safety to other family members visiting summer house. She stands strong like the lighthouse amidst emotionally shattered.
6. Virginia Woolf her self who is categorically represented by Lily so in the light house she explain her dilemma with the use of Lily's character. In this novel Mrs.Ramsay always has to struggle or balance the relations between son and father, but Mr.Ramsay storms about in a temper when people do not act according to his wishes or his timetable. He demands and gets his wife's full attention any time he needs it, he is left alone to his thoughts and he is not bothered with the mundane details of like the family's finance.
7. Yes sir Novel is more poignant than the movie. Novel decided in to three parts first part is 'The Window' it is starts with world war and we can interprete it like complexity of human relationship, the everyday battles that people are at in their relationship with near and dear ones. Mr. And Mrs.Ramsay and their struggle on life. And this novel ends with Lily Briscoe's dilemma about Mrs.Ramsay's life and her life it is open ended novel what reader feels that one is its interpretation.
8. Last line of the novel spoken by Lily Briscoe after she complete her painting of Mrs.Ramsay's house she is in dilemma about Mrs.Ramsay's life and her own life that how Mrs.Ramsay handle her house her family and balance between Mr.Ramsay and her children's feelings. But at the end Lily Briscoe put her paint brush and say " I have had my vision" as per my perspective she thinks that Mrs.Ramsay is good in her place and she is good in her place because she is not like that type of life which Mrs.Ramsay live. And finally she is satisfied with her life.
